Dual Motors VS Single Motor

Generally, the single motor is installed in the rear wheel, and the dual motors are installed in the front and rear wheels respectively. A single motor e-bike is cheaper than a dual motors e-bike.But dual motors e-bike are better than single motor e-bike in control performance and power performance.

Strengths :

* Better acceleration  
* Better climbing ability  
* In slippery, muddy or potholed road conditions, dual motors electric scooter can ride more smoothly and safty .
* Optimized the dynamical steering behavior of e-bike, better control the e-bike on curve roads.


Weaknesses :

* One more motor, more cost.
* Dual motors consume more energy than single motor. So under the same driving condition, the driving range of dual motors e-bike is shorter than that of single motor e-bike.
